As part of the Postgraduate Program, we are excited to offer a 5 th year curriculum that is rigorous, accredited, and flexible. To do this we partner with US Professional Academy (https://gouspa.org) Through the use of this program, our goals for the postgraduate students are to keep mentally sharp, to encourage advancement academically and to continue to prepare our students to excel academically at the university level. We believe that the focus on education for this year will broaden knowledge, build intellectual curiosity and enhance preparation for the college path.
US Professional Academy (USPA) is a trusted partner:
● USPA provides a wide variety of course options and teachers along with a “Learning Coach” https://online.flippingbook.com/view/805840990/2-3/
● Dual Enrollment in partnership with the University of Arizona to earn both high school and college credit (accepted by a number of colleges and universities)
● USPA college counselor can help navigate the NCAA eligibility requirements
● Cost is $3,900 per course OR Full course load cost is $18,480
● USPA partners with many NGB organizations and teams in a variety of sports. A short list is displayed here: https://gouspa.org/uspa-partners/
MMA also brings its expertise to the program:
● MMA provides a liaison/coordinator for the group of 5 th Year students
● MMA continues to provide counseling and college planning guidance
Program Design and Academic Plan:
● Online academics with wide range of course offerings including AP
● 5th Year students will take a minimum of two 1 credit courses or one 1 credit course and two .5 credit courses
● Academic time (two hours) will be built into the day using the upper floor of the ski club. MMA coordinator available for supervision/support
● Length of course is flexible – from day of enrollment student has 12 months to complete the course (we can establish the time frame for MMA students). Sample Course offerings include: (not limited to)
