Winter-Term Academy
Our Winter Term Program has been in operation since 1993, delivering on our mission of producing well rounded student-athletes. The academic program is delivered through two unique pathways, both of which are delivered in a small classroom environment that cultivates close connections between students and faculty.
MMA Consolidated:
Students in the Consolidated model will follow MMA’s existing curriculum. Students will continue in the same ‘core’ areas consistent with their present academic path. This option is structured to enable your student to access our enriched Middle School Full Time curriculum. The distinct educational needs of each student are met through attention to individual capabilities and a supportive learning environment.
MMA Cooperative:
Students in the Cooperative model follow the sending school's curriculum. Teachers deliver content, assign work, enrich lessons, and assess progress. Students are grouped by content and level to encourage discussion and engagement. This tailored learning experience recognizes that every student has a unique point of view, and so we offer this program for a limited number of students.
