Summer Dryland Camps
MMSCA is pleased to announce we are offering a 8-week summer camp for U12 academy student-athletes and older, beginning June 15 running to August 14. Due to considerations of Covid-19 and disruptions to our summer skiing we are taking full advantage of our time at home to build on what is required to reach your potential as an athlete and team member.
The focus and goals of our Summer Camp are to develop the foundation of strength and conditioning through periodized sessions of strength development by utilizing gym workouts, cardio sessions spent mountain biking and trail running, as well as regular educational work in nutrition, sport psychology. We will dive deep into the fundamentals of skiing with detailed discussions, and guest speakers. The Sideline Sport Athlete Management Platform will continue to be our tool to track progress, complete workouts, provide statistics, and deliver content. Check out the Sideline Sports XPS network.
Summer Camp will meet three mornings per week 8:30a to 12:30p through the end of June as school ends and we transition to the Summer. Starting July 6, Summer Camp will meet five mornings per week 8:30a to 12:30p until August 14, the week of July 20 will be off.
The MMSCA Strength Training camp, July 13 – 17, is an intensive five-day camp with an expanded schedule. This week is included in the 8-week Summer Camp and also available for enrollment as an individual item, for those not participating in Summer Camp.
