Fall Dryland Camps
Our Strength and Conditioning Summer Camp has been well-attended and productive. We have covered a lot of ground in terms of education, establishing the correct patterns of movements in the gym, and proper lifting technique. We have largely focused on general strength and truly developing a platform for the next phases of training leading into the fall.
To capitalize on all the hard work that we have been doing this summer, it is crucially important to maintain consistency and focus with our strength training and with our focused workouts. The real difference will be made by those athletes who can translate what was done in the last 8 weeks to the next 3+ months ahead of us.
Starting this fall, leading to the start of the season we will have alternating blocks of two to three weeks with phases of training focusing on developing max strength, power, and conversion to power endurance.
Consistency becomes a crucial aspect of being able to move from one phase of training to the next, truly developing ski specific strength and power.
With this in mind, Mt. Mansfield Ski Club & Academy will continue hosting and delivering workouts on our facility as well as throughout Sideline Sport/XPS Network platform with an after school Fall Strength Camp training program.
